The Emo style: A Fashion Trend With a Difference!

The Emo style is a style of a rock music which most of there lyrics is confessional and typically the melody is characterized with expressive and melodically musicianship. The Emo style is believed to have originated from a style known as the hard core punk in the mid 80s which was a movement from the Washington D.C. In this particular region, it was commonly referred to as Emocore or Emotional hardcore, which was started and promoted by bands such as the Embrace and Rites of spring.

As time went through, the Emo style was later performed by an American contemporary punk band which shifted its meaning and sound and changed it to blend with the in die rock and the pop punk which was in the 1990s encapsulated by groups which were known as the sunny day and the jaw breaker. By the time it got to the mid 1990s, a lot of Emo style acts came up from central of the U.S and the mid west of the U.S which enhanced the record labels to specialize in the recording of the unique style.

By the time we got to the year 2000, the Emo style had already broken to a cultural mainstream which was a major success in terms of there platinum sales. The records that had the successful platinum sale were the likes of the dash board confession and Jimmy world among other subgenre which had emerged aggressively. The Emo style in the resent years has been used by the journalists and critics who include platinum acts like the likes of chemical romance and fall out boy not living out played out groups like the panic and the Cambria.

In addition Emo style or Emo is used to reflect the significance between the artists and the fans relationship and mostly to give a description that will often relate to behaviour, fashion and culture. The Emo style’s origin is not certain to any one, but it is believed that it goes way back in the 1985; this is according to an author called Andrew Greenwald. Andy was the author of Emo, punk rock and teenagers. This leaves the originality of the term a complete mystery to all, but the key thing is that it originally came to the scene in 1985.

In 1991, there was a break through with the sub cultural and underground music in the States became a major business boost. The emergence of distribution networks, independent acts, touring routes and regions were made possible to have the access of the national stage. It caused the declaration of the teens all around the country as fan of the independent music.
